It's hard to believe, but next week is already homecoming week!
Elementary dress up days will be as follows:
Monday- Proud to be an American (wear red, white, blue)
Tuesday- Tie Dye Tuesday (wear tie dyed clothing/accessories)
Wednesday- Wacky Wednesday(wear clothes backwards, inside out, crazy hair)
Thursday- Come As You Are (comfy, pjs, stuffed animal day)
Friday- WACO SPIRIT colors (proudly wear your WACO gear!!)

Basketball Fundraiser!
Today we celebrated our 6th grade classes with our first ever 6th grade graduation! We are so proud of these kids and the growth they have made in their time at WACO Elementary! As sad as we are to see them go (they will be VERY missed), we are excited for the opportunities that are ahead of them at the Junior High next fall! Congrats, 6th graders! We are wishing you all the very best on your next adventures! 💙
The 6th grade classes wanted one last recess on the front playground before we send them on their way to new exciting adventures at the JH next year! Lots of fun and reminiscing about their early years at WACO Elementary! 💙
During May Term, 6th grade classes have been working on statistics projects! Students developed statistical questions and created surveys to collect data. They used the data they collected to create dot plots, histograms, and box plots. Check out some of our 6th grade statisticians showing off their hard work!
4th grade took a field trip to Washington! First stop was Halcyon House where they were served doughnuts and chocolate milk, then they broke out into groups and participated in various activities (bingo, trivia, exercising, "fishing," and reading) Second stop was Paws & More animal shelter where they leaned how to feed baby kittens, played with the cats/dogs, and filled treat toys for the animals. We want to thank these businesses for providing a fun experience for our students!

One of the fun things 6th graders got to do at Fun City was bowling! Huge thanks to PTO for making this trip possible!
PreK Prom was a blast! Many thanks to our PreK staff for putting this on and to all families who came!
